EQAO results

The Keewatin-Patricia District school board says its very pleased with the latest province-wide grade 10 literacy
results.

The Education Quality and Accountability Office released the latest test scores today, and average scores in the public school board are 78 percent.

That’s four percent lower than the provincial average, but local results have improved steadily over the past three years.

Dryden High School had the top results, with average test scores at 82 percent, the same as the provincial average.

Students at Beaver Brae in Kenora averaged 81 percent in the grade 10 literacy tests which were written last fall.
