The Education Quality and Accountability Office has
released the latest literacy test results for the Keewatin
Patricia District School Board.
Superintendent of Education Wendy Wiedenhoft says the
results show an alarming gap between the genders.

Girls were 83% successful, while the boys came in at 67%.
Board wide students scored 74%, ten percent lower than
the provincial average.
