Terry Quinney is a biologist with the OFAH and says the expanded fall bear hunt hasn’t made up for the loss of the spring hunt.

Quinney says there is a direct correlation between the cancellation of the spring bear hunt and an increase in the number of nuicence bear complaints in Ontario.
