Reading and writing test results in the Keewatin-Patricia School
District have dropped slightly.
74% of Grade 10 students are meeting Provincial standards, down
4% from last year.
The Provincial average is at 84%.
Red Lake High School is showing an 85% success rate, followed by
Beaver Brae at 80%.
79% of Grade 10 students in Dryden met the standard, while Queen
Elizabeth had a 57% showing.
The literacy results also show local girls had better success at the
reading and writing tests than their male counterparts.
83% of females met the Provincial standard, while the boys
had a 67% success rate.
