After winning Gold and Bronze medals in Pyeongchang, Balmertown’s Eric Radford is bringing the celebration back to his hometown.
Radford held a meet and greet at the Curling Lounge at the Goldcorp Recreational Centre and they watched his performances with Meagan Duhamel as well as signed autographs and took pictures with the people.
He says it is great to be back in the place where it all started and to speak to the people who have supported him since the very beginning.
Radford also mentions he has visited area schools for talks and has hit the ice with the Balmertown Skaters Club which he says was a very nostalgic experience.
He thanks the entire Red Lake area for all the support over the years which helped him with all of his accomplishments.
Radford also brought three of his medals, the bronze and gold from Pyeongchang and his silver medal from Sochi 2014.
