A young local athlete recently had the opportunity to represent Dryden in competitive volleyball.
Ethan Cook was a member of the Superior North Under-16 Volleyball team in Thunder Bay this past Winter.
Cook says he enjoyed his position as “middle” and hopes to continue his volleyball pursuit throughout the spring and summer months.
Here were the tournament results for Ethan Cook and the Thunder Bay team:
Event #1: Hastings, Minnesota. Team lost 25-23 and 26-24 in the Finals to Under-18 Minnesota Select team
Event #2: Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Team played against several teams older than them and lost in the Quarter-Final
Event #3: Winona State University, Minnesota. Team lost 25-23 and 25-19 in the Semi-Final to Under-18 Minnesota Select team
