Its the final home game of 2009 Wednesday night for the Dryden Ice Dogs and it’s a big one, on and off the ice.
The Dogs face the Fort Frances Lakers in the Cops for Cancer game.
5-members of the Dryden Police Service, Jordan Railian from the Lodge and Ice Dogs Defenceman John Mitchell are all scheduled to shave their head for the Canadian Cancer Society.
For Mitchell, his hair means a lot, so this is a big deal.
He notes he’s happy to help out a great cause for the right price.
Game time is 7:30 and the Organization is hoping for a huge turn-out.
The Ice Dogs will also be collecting food donations for the Dryden Food Bank.
