Extrcurricular Activities Not A Given

Their union says most public high school teachers may not return to extracurricular activities even though they are being encouraged to do so.
Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation president Ken Coran says more than half of their 60,000 members want to see “concrete results” from the governing Liberals.
Coran adds that some may never resume extracurriculars, which were stopped in response to the government using Bill 115 to impose contracts on public educators.
Premier Kathleen Wynne she thinks most teachers and support staff who have been engaged in after school sports and clubs will want to return to those activities.
