Scam Warning

Provincial police are cautioning the public to be wary of emails purporting to be from banks or other institutions directing them to update their account profiles.
Police say the notification will be an almost exact replica of a real form and website, complete with legal disclaimers and letterhead.
Police say filling out the form provides fraudsters with every bit of information added and is used to forward money to an account of their choosing.
