An extreme cold warning is in effect, and a return to bitter temperatures is here to stay.
Environment Canada’s Geoff Coulson says in the wake of the system that gave us about 20 cm of snow on Saturday, temperatures are dropping quite significantly across Northwestern Ontario.
“The cold is going to be the big story, not just for Sunday, but that very cold weather is expected to stay with us right through the work week coming up,” says Coulson.
Coulson says brisk winds from the north will bring windchill values up to minus 45 well into the work week. (File photo)
