Extreme Weather Planning Featured At Dryden Conference

Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says people should be prepared for harsh weather conditions.

Speaking at the Northwest Response Forum in Dryden, Coulson stated extreme weather is now a lot easier to track because of modern technology.

Coulson says it’s important to provide warnings of inclement weather, even if it is not guaranteed.

He notes that lightning is extremely dangerous and people should remain indoors during a thunderstorm until 30 minutes after the last boom.
