The Northern Ontario Party continues to evolve in preparation for the 2018 provincial election.
Members have concluded voting on the party’s platforms and they will soon be releasing them to the public.
One of the highlights includes the party wanting to create a Northern Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
Leader Trevor Holliday says the ministry would be based in northern Ontario and operated by people from the north.
Holliday adds all revenue generated from the ministry would stay in the region.
