The waiting time for cataract surgery in Winnipeg is

currently 6 to 12 months, Balcaen estimates wait times

will be much shorter in Kenora.

The Kenora and Rainy River Lions Club are in charge of

fundraising for the equipment, which costs over a quarter

if a million dollars.
