Fall Economic Statement

With the recent announcement of 125-mill jobs being cut in Dryden,
the Province has provided an extra $40-million to retrain and
re-employee laid off workers.
The funding is part of the Ontario Government’s Fall Economic
Statement.
Minister of Northern Development Michael Gravelle feels his party has
made some announcements that will help the Region and the struggling
forest industry.
The province also announced $1.1-billion in tax cuts.
