Fall Forescast Looks Good For Our Region

The warm, dry weather we’ve been enjoying this summer is expected to linger into fall.

That’s the autumn forecast for much of northwestern Ontario from Accuweather.

The American weather service says this is an El Nino year, which means the weather patterns favour a later than usual frost and freeze up.

Accuweather adds that the warmer conditions means the active wild fire season out in British Columbia will also likely continue, extending the risk of far-reaching smoke and poor air quality.
