A Dryden woman was transported to Hospital with smoke inhalation after a fire at an Apartment complex on Friday evening.
18-firefighters were called to the 6-unit building on Mary Avenue and found a main floor apartment full of smoke.
A sleeping female occupant and a kitten were removed from the building.
Dryden Fire officials say a large pot was left unattended on the stove and the resident didn’t wake up in time.
The Fire Service says a battery was disconnected from the smoke alarm.
