Police report no new developments in the search for a 20-year-old Toronto woman missing in northern Ontario since August 6th.
Christina Calayca has not been seen since going for a jog in the dense bush of Rainbow Falls Provincial Park east of Thunder Bay.
O-P-P Sergeant Deb Tully says some 40 police personnel headed out again today at first light to continue the search.
She says some scraps of clothing have been found, but none have been linked to the Toronto day care worker.
Calayca’s mother she’s confident her daughter, wherever she is, has not given up.
Elizabeth Rutledge says her daughter will “eat
leaves” or whatever she can to survive.
But, her father, Mario Calayca admits it is difficult to stay positive.
Authorities have ruled out a bear attack and foul play.
