Minister of Children and Youth Services Mary Anne
Chambers was in Whitefish Bay and Kenora yesterday to
designate the Anishinabe Abinooji Family Services as a
Children’s aid society.
Chambers says the group will service five Treaty Three
First Nations, and it’s members who live off reserve
within the Rainy River and Kenora District.

Chambers made the initial announcement in Whitefish Bay,
and then travelled to Kenora to perform a sod turning
ceremony on the Anishinabe Abinooji’s new offices.
