The McGuinty Government has designated Anishinaabe
Abinoojii family services as a children’s aid society.
Minister of Children and Youth Services Mary Anne
Chambers made the announcement in Whitefish Bay yesterday.
Chambers says the designation will mean the group will
assume full responsibility for providing child well-being
and protection services.

Anishinabe Abinooji will service five Treaty Three First
Nations, and it’s members who live off reserve within the
Rainy River and Kenora District.
