A recent Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives report
calls for the province to create a regional power
authority and to tie timber rights to community
stakeholders.
The Vice President of the Ontario Communications, Energy
and Paperworkers Union believes the report is positive and
forward thinking.
Cec Makowski says his union is teaming up with the
federal leader of the NDP, to draw more attention to the
dying forest industry.
