Six schools in this region will be getting faster internet service.
The Ministry of Education has announced 50 million dollars to improve broadband service to 182 schools in rural and northern parts of the province.
In the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board, just Ignace and Queen Elizabeth in Sioux Lookout will be getting the funding.
That also includes four of the schools with the Kenora Catholic District School Board.
Pope John Paul, St. Louis, Ste. Margarite Bourgeoys and Thomas Aquinas.
