Fatal Crash In Kenora

A 79-year-old woman is dead after a vehicle hit two people crossing a street in Kenora.
Provincial Police say on Monday morning, the two women were crossing First Street when a vehicle heading southbound hit them.
Both women were taken to hospital, and the one woman was transferred to Winnipeg where she died from her injuries.
She has been identified as Marlyn Lowes.
The other woman, who is 83-years-old, has been released from hospital.
As a result, a 59-year-old woman has been charged with failure to yield.
