A 30 year old woman faces second degree murder charges in connection to a fatality on the New Osnaburgh First Nation.
Late Saturday afternoon the Nishinawbe-Aski Police Service was contacted about a stabbing incident in a home in the community south of Pickle Lake.
A 29 year old man was taken to the local nursing station where he died from his injuries.
A post-mortem exam is being conducted today at Lake of the Woods District Hospital on Franklin Kwandibens.
The suspect, Janet Masakeyash is currently in custody and will make a first court appearance today in Kenora Court.
