One person is dead after a twin engine aircraft crashed at Thunder Bay International Airport.
In a statement from President & CEO Ed Schmidtke Tuesday morning, the Airport’s Operational Specialists responded to the accident just after 9:00 p.m. Monday along with Thunder Bay Fire, Thunder Bay Police Services and Superior North EMS.
The scene is now being held for the investigation by the Transportation Safety Board.
All incoming flights were halted, and planes already inbound were turned around.
