A surprising development in the Ontario Conservative Leadership race.
Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli has announced this morning that he’s dropping out of the race.
Fedeli has indicated that he plans to support Christine Elliott, who has been the
top fundraiser so far, with over a half million dollars in her war chest.
Fedeli was second with about $156,000 in his coffers.
Fedeli was in Kenora just last month trying to drum up support for his leadership bid to replace Tim Hudak as party leader.
