Aboriginals are being encouraged to get out and vote today.
The Grand Chief of the Assembly of First Nations toured the Kenora Riding last week.
Phil Fontaine says natives make up a significant portion of the population and their votes could decide the outcome in some of the races.
Fontaine stopped short of endorsing any one Party but he did say the AFN has developed a good working relationship with the Paul Martin Government.
He notes that he is disappointed that aboriginal issues were not given any attention in the election campaign.
