Boater Seriously Injured

An American Tourist was seriously injured after a boating mishap on the English River system near Ear Falls Friday.
OPP say 2 Minnesota men were traveling upstream when the operator failed to navigate a set of rapids, throwing a 41-year-old from the boat.
The victim was airlifted to Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota with serious head and arm injuries.
OPP say the man was not wearing a life jacket but no charges are expected to be laid.
