Sioux Lookout is home to another multi-millionaire!
Days after her 47th birthday, Norma Sitar is in Toronto today to claim her Lotto 6/49 jackpot prize of $12.5 million.
Sitar says she rarely buy’s lottery tickets but she happened to pick one up on June 12th, the last possible day they were on sale.
She says she went to Drayton Cash and Carry a week later and she thought she won $125.
Norma and husband Brian don’t know what they plan to do with their new found fortune however they hope to do some traveling in the near future.
They both have no intentions on retiring.
The winning ticket was purchased at Sioux Lottery Centre in Sioux Lookout.
