The federal government is giving a financial boost to Canadian Tire’s Jumpstart program.
The $1.3-million is aimed at helping more children get involved in organized sport through the initiative.
Jumpstart helps cover registration, equipment and transportation costs for eligible youth 4 to 18.
The program is now in its tenth year.
