Heart Of The Continent Coming On-Line

The wrap comes off Thursday on a new MapGuide and Website promoting northeastern Minnesota and parts of northwestern Ontario to a global audience.
The Heart of the Continent’s Geotourism initiative has the backing of National Geographic.
It aims to promote an area including Fort Frances/International Falls, Atikokan, Thunder Bay and Duluth to visitors from around the world.
Special events Thursday in Duluth and Grand Portage, Minnesota are being held with another planned in Thunder Bay Friday.
