The Federal Government has invested $440,000 to help aboriginal communities in the Northwest create new jobs and expand their economy.
The Big Vermillion Lodge in Sioux Lookout was handed $172,000 for expansion.
Wabigoon and Sandy Lake First Nations received funding to enhance forestry and mining operations.
And $170,000 will help Wasaya Airlines expand Float and Ski Plane service.
