Kenora-Rainy River MP Bob Nault says the framework is now in place to move ahead on a 10 year infrastructure plan for Northern Ontario.
The Indian Affairs Minister says the recent Federal Budget paved the way for improvements.
Nault hopes to meet with Premier Eves to move forward with a Federal-Provincial plan.
However, he would not say if the plan includes the twinning of the Trans-Canada Highway.
The Federal Budget provided $3 billion for infrastructure development over the next 10 years.
