Federal Funding For Science North First Nations Programming

The federal government wants to get more Indigenous youth excited about science.

It’s providing Science North with over 187-thousand dollars over the next three years to expand its outreach programs.

The agency says the funding will allow for more visits, either in person or through video conferencing, and the development of science and technology-based programming that’s culturally appropriate to First Nations youth.
