Federal Plan for Forest Sector Needed

Minister of Natural Resources David Ramsay says he’s eagerly awaiting
details of a Federal aid package for Ontario’s lumber industry after the
Feds announced a $50-million plan for the sector in Quebec.
Ramsay says he unveiled a $680-million package while overcoming
a budget deficit and notes given the Federal Governments fiscal position he
is hoping to hear a similar announcement.
Ramsay says funding is needed to reinvest and modernize existing
facilities.
