The federal government is providing FPInnovations with $780,000 in FedNor funding to help area forestry companies.
The consulting group will connect businesses with research programs and new technology to allow them to stay more competitive and improve their bottom line.
FPInnovations spokesperson John Pineau says the three year project will assist companies to increase efficiencies and implement clean energy solutions to help meet the increased demand created by Ontario’s new building codes.
