FedNor Money to Help Local Businesses

Small business developers in the region are getting a shot in the arm from the Federal Government.
FedNor is funding the Northern Ontario Enterprise Gateway to the tune of $450,000.
Gateway Spokesperson Mary Long-Irwin hopes it will encourage private investors to fund the organization.
The Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre has been promised $320,000.
Centre Manager Judy Sander says the money will be used to provide $5,000 grants to help get business projects off the ground.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford made the announcement on Friday.
