Feds Announce Funding for New Research Centre

The Federal Government has injected $14.7-million into the
construction of a new Molecular Medicine Research Centre in Thunder Bay.
Minister of Health Tony Clement made the announcement in the Lakehead
Monday morning.
The new centre will bring together top researchers, provide high-quality
training and develop leading-edge research programs in support of cancer and
cardiac research.
Clement says the $44.1-million project will help position
Northwestern Ontario at the international forefront of research and
discovery.
