Feds Invest In New Schools

The Federal Government has announced $44.5-million in funding for new schools in Fort Severn First Nation and Poplar Hill First Nation.
Fort Severn has already started to mobilize materials using the winter road.
Construction is expected to begin this spring and the project should be completed in September 2016.
The new 1,800 square metre school will house students from Kindergarten to Grade 8.
