Feds Looking At Greyhound Alternatives

The Federal government is looking into possible alternatives following Greyhound’s decision to stop bus service west of Sudbury at the end of October.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau agrees it’s a concern for many people who face the possibility of reduced transportation services.

Trudeau says the news is difficult for many who rely on the bus service.

He explains he has asked his Transport Minister to work with the provinces, communities and the company to find potential paths moving forward.

So far only Kasper Transportation of Thunder Bay has stepped forward to fill some of the void in northwestern Ontario.
