Feeding Kids Before School

As the school year gets under way, a new partnership is helping feed hungry children here in Northwestern Ontario and across the country.
Egg Farmers of Canada is putting its weight behind Breakfast Club of Canada, which has volunteers serving breakfast to kids before school.
A spokesman for the nutritional program, Don Inouye says one child in seven goes to school on an empty stomach, which has troubling implications..
Breakfast Club of Canada is in 28 schools in Northwestern Ontario, and at least 8 new ones are pending.
There are 466 breakfast clubs across Ontario, serving almost 11-million meals a year.
