Fencing is expected to be erected along the North & South sides of King St in downtown Dryden between Earl & Whyte Ave in a day or 2.
The Ministry of Labour has concerns for the safety of pedestrians in the area during Phase 1 of the downtown revitialization project currently underway.
Director of Engineering for the City, Brad Johns says no vehicles will be allowed but foot traffic & access to stores & businesses WILL still be permitted.
While not able to say for sure, Johns also says the work could go beyond the scheduled wind up date of September 24th.
