The Red Lake Regional Heritage Centre invites everyone to the opening of its 2026 summer exhibit, Handcrafted: The Keepers of Cultural Heritage, on Saturday, July 18 at 11:00 a.m.

This year’s exhibit celebrates the rich tradition of women’s handcrafting in Red Lake, recognizing the skill, creativity, and dedication that have been passed from generation to generation. Handcrafted explores the important role these crafts have played in preserving cultural heritage while creating opportunities for women to gather, socialize, and share their knowledge.

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the artistry, history, and community behind Red Lake’s handcrafted heritage.

You can’t go wrong with spaghetti for a weekend dinner….especially when someone else makes it for you and takes care of all the dishes!! A fundraising spaghetti dinner is coming up on Saturday, July 18th at the Dryden Go-Getters Club from 5 until 8.  The dinner is in support of next year’s Dryden Renaissance Faire!  20 dollar tickets are available at Rona Dryden and by email.

The Dryden & District Agricultural Society will be hosting a pancake breakfast on Sunday, July 19th from 9am until 12:30pm.  Tickets will be available at the door.  Come and enjoy homemade pancakes, sausages, scrambled eggs, roasted fried potatoes, homemade muffins, juice, coffee and tea.  Bring the entire family and enjoy!

Check out the Multicultural event in Dryden on Sunday, July 19th at Sandy Beach Park! Come have a good time, discover different cultures and connect with others in a friendly atmosphere. Speaking French is not a requirement.  Everyone is welcome to attend!
