Red Lake’s Pete McLeod wasn’t able to reach the podium at this weekend’s Red Bull Air Race in Austria, despite an impressive performance.
McLeod managed to fly a clean run in the Round of 8 but that wasn’t enough to move on.
Before that round, he posted the fastest times of all contenders.
McLeod still finished 5th and he’s now 5th in the World rankings.
He comes home for the final two races on North American soil in Fort Worth, Texas and Las Vegas.
