The Ontario Medical Association is considering putting graphic labels on junk food packaging, similar to the ones on cigarettes, and increasing the tax on fatty foods.
Julie Slack is a registered dietician with the Northwestern Health Unit says families can take little steps to leading a healthier lifestyle, such as having family dinners together.
Slack says there are so many factors that play into obesity, that it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what causes it.
However, even getting out for an evening walk is better then not having any physical activity at all.
