Last ditch efforts will be made Monday in an attempt to avoid a strike between ParaMed Home Health in Dryden, Red Lake and Ear Falls and 30-unionized members of Unifor.
The two sides will sit down with a mediator.
Unifor Local National representative Stephen Boon says if they can’t reach a deal, staff are prepared to walk off the job on Friday.
ParaMed is a private for-profit company that provides health and home support services across the region.
