Final payments on the way

The final cheques are about to be mailed out from the Ontario Disaster Relief Assistance Program to cover damage from the June 2002 flooding caused by some of the worst storms ever to hit the region.
7 communities including, Ignace, Machin & Atikokan are in line for a
portion of the $810,000 from the Province.
The June 9-11 storm system washed out roads & bridges in several areas.
All told, 13 NWO towns shared more than $4 million in disaster funding.
