Sioux Narrows Bridge

The choices have been narrowed for the design of a new bridge on Highway 71 at Sioux Narrows.
Consultants for the MTO have come up with 3 choices to replace the old structure that was declared un-usable earlier this year when a temporary single lane structure was put in place.
2 of the 3 possibilities incorporate wood from the old bridge while the 3rd is a modern standard unit commonly used across the province.
Public reaction so far indicates residents favour either of the 1st 2 options.
Construction is not expected for another year.
