Ontario’s finance minister denies the government has any plans to sell of the LBCO.
The Ontario Public Service Employees Union has launched a new campaign called Shop LCBO to
support the crown corporation.
Charles Sousa says the LBCO is a very attractive crown corporation because it is so profitable.
OPSEU says the LCBO generates a profit of more than two billion dollars a year, which is used to help pay for
valuable public services.
