Highway 17 going through Dryden is open in both directions as of 7:30 this evening
Police andDryden Public Works partially closed Highway 17 west of the Hwy 601 intersection by Dryden GM at about 4 pm
The closure was due to an incident earlier in the day involving a tanker truck that lost its trailer. A heavy crane had to move the tank trailer which had disconnected in the centre turning lane, tearing the fifth wheel hitch off of the trailer in front of it. Some 28 thousand litres of fuel had to be transferred before the tanker could be moved.
