Fines forTrespassing to Fish Handed Out

Four Thunder Bay anglers have been fined just over $1,000.
The Ministry of Natural Resources stopped the group back in July.
They were travelling by truck on a closed road that leads to Wapikaimaki Lake, northwest of Ignace.
Unfortunately, anglers can only access the Lake by using traditional methods and motorized vehicles aren’t allowed.
Michael and Lauri Kopanski as well as Daniel and Danna Niemi were fined for trespassing to fish.
